A shop desk for a record shop, with takings by channel
A complete back-office app for an independent record shop with its own small label, with a light and a dark theme, and it comes with sample data for a made-up record shop in Bristol. Good for: a shop or retail point-of-sale back office, a small store with a webshop, a music or vinyl business, or any project that needs a polished place to see sales, stock and customers together. How it works: the overview shows takings split by shop counter, webstore and gigs as stacked columns that change between week, month and year, with channels you switch off, beside today's sales at the counter, web orders to pack and post and what is running low; ringing up a sale, packing an order or refunding a record moves the takings, the stock and the sidebar counts everywhere. Includes: a sale screen that opens from anywhere; every transaction with refunds that put the record back on the shelf; payouts, trade invoices and card readers; the record catalogue with genre filters, stock with reorders and the label's releases with pre-orders; customers with their wants lists and a record club; insights on takings, footfall and genres; an inbox of holds and orders; settings; and help. How to use: run it as it is to explore with the sample data, which is saved in your browser with a reset in Settings, then connect your own till, shop and stock data, since there is no backend; the icon bar opens a menu per section and pins open into a full sidebar, Cmd+K searches records, orders and customers, and it works on every screen from phone to desktop with a bottom tab bar on phones.
