Parley
a messaging dashboard with a two-way inbox, campaigns, automations and reports across eight pages
Parley is an eight-page messaging dashboard template for a business that talks to its customers by SMS, WhatsApp and email, shown as a fictional home-goods shop. Overview, Inbox, Campaigns, Scheduled, Audience, Automations, Reports and Settings sit behind an icon sidebar that expands to show every label (a toggle or the [ key; the page makes room), and every screen has its own URL. Overview's cards land in reading order, and changing a period moves every chart to its new values. The Inbox is two-way: filter and search conversations, star, assign and archive them, and send a reply that steps from sending to delivered to read while the customer types back. Campaigns has status filters, a detail panel with a results funnel, and a composer with audience, live preview, cost against your credits, and send now, schedule or draft; a sending campaign shows its progress live. Scheduled plans the next 14 days with reschedule, send now and undo. Audience has segments, tag filters, bulk actions, CSV import and export, and a profile panel for each contact. Automations are flows of wait, send, condition and tag steps you can add, reorder and delete, and Test run sends a dot down the chain. Reports re-cuts its KPIs, a channel chart, a reply-time histogram and a best-time-to-send heatmap for 7, 30 or 90 days or 12 months, with CSV export. Settings covers profile, workspace and quiet hours, channels, notifications, team invites and billing. Global search opens with Cmd or Ctrl+K. All data is seeded sample data in src/store.ts with no backend, so you connect your own API there; edits persist in localStorage. On phones the sidebar becomes a labelled tab bar with four pages and a More sheet, fields are 16px so iOS never zooms, and every control is at least 44px to a finger. Charts are hand-built SVG with tooltips and keyboard reading, and reduced-motion settings are respected. Built with TypeScript, HTML and CSS plus GSAP, with Vite included.

Version history
- v1.0.1, 2026-10-16 — Expandable sidebar and a proper phone layout. The sidebar has an expand and collapse button (the [ key does the same): expanded, it shows every label and the page makes room for it instead of sitting underneath; the choice is remembered, and collapsed icons show a tooltip. On phones the bottom tab bar now holds four pages plus More, a sheet with Scheduled, Automations, Reports and Settings, every tab labelled; form fields are 16px so iPhones never zoom on tap, every control is at least 44px to a finger, and the layout clears the notch and the home bar. A short conversation now sits just above the reply box, as in every chat app, and menus open toward the side with room.
- v1.0.0, 2026-10-15 — First release. Parley shipped, with the reel recorded from the real page.
